Daikin, a renowned leader in the heating, cooling, and ventilation industry, has further demonstrated its commitment to the environment with the launch of an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its VRV5 Heat Recovery R32 system.

The EPD provides quality-assured, quantifiable environmental data on Daikin’s VRV5 Heat Recovery R32 system. As the requirement for transitioning to more sustainable ways of heating and cooling buildings becomes increasingly pressing, this EPD provides reassurance to building designers, planners, contractors, and developers that Daikin’s products meet their needs.

The EPD for the VRV5 Heat Recovery R32 system is the first of its kind, and it sets the bar for the rest of the industry. Transparency is crucial when it comes to reducing carbon emissions and unnecessary energy consumption, and EPDs provide an excellent way of detailing this information for all to see.

Matteo Dall’Ombra, Product Manager Commercial at Daikin UK said: “Transitioning to more sustainable products is a key priority for Daikin. The introduction of the EPD is concrete evidence that we are delivering against this. It gives customers and installers key environmental data and will reassure them about our product’s green credentials.”
