Leading sustainable energy specialists, CooperÖstlund will be on hand to showcase its innovative products and services that help farmers reduce their carbon footprint and improve “their bottom line” at the Low Carbon Agriculture Show 2023.

Visitors to the NAEC Stoneleigh (7 – 8 February) will have the opportunity to learn about the Northampton-based firm’s cutting-edge technologies around anaerobic digestion (AD).

AD is the process by which organic matter such as plant or animal matter is broken down by microbial action, producing a biogas with a high methane content. This methane can be captured and burned to produce heat, electricity or both.

Senior Business Development Manager Stephen Bandey said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to share our knowledge and expertise with farmers and industry professionals.

“We believe that sustainable and low carbon agriculture is the key to feeding growing population while protecting the environment, and we are committed to helping farmers implement these practices.”

“The Low Carbon Agriculture Show is a leading event for sustainable and low carbon farming, and CooperÖstlund is honoured to be part of it. We welcome attendees to come and find us to learn more about how to reduce their carbon footprint and improve their bottom line with sustainable agriculture practices.”

The Low Carbon Agriculture Show 2023 is a vibrant business event for forward thinking farmers, landowners, and industry operators. The event will explore ways to address climate change through the generation of renewable energy, the implementation of low carbon technology and best practice in both carbon and environmental land management.

The UK is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050 and the agricultural sector is uniquely placed to be part of the solution. This event is all about how this will be delivered.

With the popularity of biogas as a fuel to generate electricity growing significantly, CooperÖstlund is at the forefront of Combined Heat and Power from biogas and can help farmers produce low-cost electrical energy and make savings on their operating expenses.

Located on the Lodge Farm Industrial Estate in Duston, Northampton, CooperÖstlund helps organisations use and produce energy in the most efficient way, offering future-proof solutions.
