CP Automation has added the J60i and J90i lithium battery UPS solutions to its portfolio, broadening its UPS offering with models designed for space-constrained applications and environments reliant on long-life performance and reliable back-up power in high temperature applications.

Designed for 220-240V applications, the J60i and J90i use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries and are suited to sectors including industrial automation, point of sale, audiovisual (AV) infrastructure, kiosks and edge computing, where footprint, weight and operating temperature are important considerations. Adding this range gives CP Automation’s customers easier access to specialist UPS technology backed by technical support and expertise.

Meanwhile, for Xtreme Power Conversion, the expansion of this partnership provides a stronger route into the UK and European markets through a well-established engineering-led supplier. Until now, many of its customers in the region had to be directly supplied from the US, but the new agreement will help improve availability and make it easier for customer to source their UPS locally.

“CP Automation is a natural fit for us,” explains Tom Ebner, president and CEO of Xtreme Power Conversion. “They’re highly technical and engineering-focused and have already proved to be a strong and reliable partner for our products. As we expand into the UK and European markets, it’s important for us to be working with a company that can support customers locally, as an extension of our team.

“We’re seeing a rise in demand from applications such as edge computing, and our customers are increasingly looking for UPS systems that can deliver reliable protection in small spaces and more demanding environments,” added Ebner. That’s where the J60i and J90i are particularly strong.”

“We’ve been in the UPS market for many years now, and we’re also seeing a shift in requirements,” explained John Mitchell, global sales and marketing director at CP Automation. “Customers are looking for solutions that are not just reliable, but also compact, energy-efficient and easy to integrate into complex systems. This next step in our partnership means we can meet those needs with cutting-edge lithium-ion technology, supported by our own expertise and service.”

The new partnership makes it easier for UK and European customers to access the J60i and J90i systems, providing reliable backup power in tight spaces and tough environments, supported by CP Automation’s technical expertise.
