Eco-heating specialist Daikin UK is sponsoring the venue for BBC Earth Experience, a brand new attraction in London featuring Seven Worlds, One Planet.

This ground-breaking new attraction will offer visitors the chance to experience the extraordinary diversity of our seven unique continents, featuring bespoke narration from David Attenborough.

BBC Earth Experience will showcase footage, including extended scenes to fully immerse the visitor, and music from the BBC Studios Natural History Unit television series Seven Worlds, One Planet, projected on multiple multi-angle screens using the very latest digital screen technology.

This new London attraction offers a truly transformative experience that will allow audiences of every age to feel like they’ve stepped into the natural world, losing themselves in boundless wonder as they travel to far flung places.

Visitors will take a 360-degree audio visual journey to explore iconic landscapes and connect with animals on an adventure bringing environments to life.

Through Daikin’s sponsorship of the purpose built venue, Daikin seeks to educate audiences on the benefits of low-carbon heating and cooling solutions and demonstrate its commitment to lowering the carbon footprint of UK homes and buildings. The experience will take place in a new, demountable venue called ‘The Daikin Centre’, located in Earl’s Court, London. The venue will bring Daikin’s leading eco-heating and cooling technology to life by allowing consumers to experience it first-hand.

This venue has been designed with a commitment to minimising environmental impact. At the same time, Daikin is dedicated to delivering the highest level of comfort and refined air quality inside the building.

The Daikin Centre is equipped with the very latest heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system by Daikin UK to offer fresh air, heating and comfort cooling, in a highly energy efficient way. Nine customised air handling units with integrated controls are being built in Britain to offer highly flexible ventilation serving different zones. In addition, a VRV 5 Heat Recovery system was selected for the front of house and first floor educational spaces and staff areas, offering a range of ceiling cassettes and ducted units for indoor climate control. The HVAC systems are being installed by Daikin D1+ Premium Partner, Zircon AC Ltd.

A combination of performance developments and technologies means that Daikin’s VRV 5 Heat Recovery is the ideal solution for projects where environmental impact is a priority, including those aiming to achieve BREEAM, LEED or WELL accreditation. Daikin’s unique climate control systems have been purpose-engineered to meet the demands of modern buildings while also minimising their carbon footprint.

Hiroyasu Ishikawa, Managing Director at Daikin UK, commented: “At Daikin, we’re committed to delivering low-carbon heating and cooling solutions. So, we are delighted to be working with Moon Eye Productions and Live Nation to host the BBC Earth Experience in London.

“It’s a unique opportunity for people to learn more about our wonderful environment and gain a new perspective on our impact on the planet. This great opportunity shows us how important it is to take every possible step to move towards our Net Zero targets, on both a personal and national level.”
