Daikin UK’s Summer Series is a programme of networking events designed to connect, inspire and empower professional HVAC installers shaping the future of low-carbon buildings across the commercial sector.
Taking place at venues across the UK from May to July 2026, the Summer Series will offer a rich agenda of expert-led content, product innovation, and industry dialogue. The events offer guests a unique opportunity to network with peers, share practical solutions for decarbonising heating, cooling and hot water systems, and gain valuable insight into emerging technologies.
Steve Molloy, Sustainability and Commercial Solutions Manager at Daikin, commented: “The commercial sector is under real pressure to decarbonise, and the technology to do it well is already here. The Summer Series is where we get into the detail, from large-scale heat pump deployment and VRV5 integration to system efficiency and modern controls. It’s a chance for installers to share what’s working, ask the difficult questions, and come away with practical answers.”
Agenda Highlights
At the heart of the Summer Series is a meaningful, wide-ranging conversation about how heat pumps can be deployed at greater scale to meet the commercial and industrial heating and cooling demands of today and tomorrow.
Attendees will explore how heat pump technology, from air-to-air and air-to-water systems through to large-scale cascade and water-to-water solutions, can replace gas boilers across a wide range of building types, delivering Seasonal Coefficients of Performance (SCOP) of up to 4.5 and achieving water temperatures of up to 90°C when required.
The programme also showcases Daikin’s updated VRV5 systems, featuring lower GWP refrigerants and smart controls that integrate seamlessly into modern projects. A key focus will be its proprietary Shîrudo Technology. It removes the need for additional EN 378 toxicity leak detection equipment, simplifying installation and reducing cost. Full compliance is maintained through built-in alarm systems, invisible leak detection and shut-off valves.
Product Innovations
The events will also showcase the latest product innovations from Daikin including the refreshed Stylish range of indoor units, which now offers five new finishes using advanced 3D printing technology: Dark Leather Effect, Oak Effect, Pine Effect, Grey Fabric and Colourful Fabric. The wider choice gives installers more flexibility when aesthetics are part of the brief.
Also on show will be the redesigned Madoka Plus wired room controller – winner of a Good Design Award 2025 – featuring a smarter touchscreen interface and optional intelligent sensors that turn it into a smart room automation hub for hotels, offices and retail environments.
