Merseyside retrofit and renewable energy specialist Gaia Energy has welcomed two senior hires to its leadership team to support the company’s rapid growth. Denis Hennigan joins as Strategic Development Director and Marc Goudie takes up the role of Head of Decarbonisation.
Hennigan, previously Director of Business Development at Ecogee, brings extensive experience in the energy and decarbonisation sector to the team. In his new role, he will focus on driving business growth, building strategic partnerships and expanding Gaia Energy’s market presence. Since launching in 2020, Gaia Energy (formerly Gray North West) has reported consistent year-on-year growth and is on track to reach a £5 million turnover this year.
Goudie also joins Gaia Energy from Ecogee, bringing a wealth of expertise in compliance and decarbonisation. He will lead the operational delivery of energy efficiency projects under key schemes such as ECO4 (Energy Company Obligation), GBIS (Great British Insulation Scheme), SHDF Wave 3 (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) and Local Authority Warm Homes programmes.
