Antenova supplies antennas for smart energy networks. Covering ISM 433MHz, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G / LTE telecoms and GNSS, whatever the frequency required we should have a suitable antenna. Our flexiiANT range offers a choice of antennas that can be fixed inside the case of a monitoring device or smart meter.

Our newest flexible antenna is Inca (part no SRFI028). This is an “easy integration” antenna with high gain, suitable for small devices in the ISM 433MHz band. It measures 101.0mm x 20.0mm x 0.15mm, and weighs just 0.5g, with a peak gain of 2.80dBi. This antenna was created for remote monitoring, robot control, smart meters, home automation and medical devices. It’s also suitable to use with low power wireless modules, as the 433MHz band is increasingly being chosen for IoT applications that exploit the longer range that can be achieved with this frequency.

For Wi-Fi connections, we suggest our Dromus antenna (P/N SRF2W012). This is a high performing dual-band Wi-Fi antenna operating in the 2.4-2.5GHz and 4.9-5.9GHz wireless bands, including the latest 802.11a/b/g/j/n/ac standard. At 30.0 x 6.0mm, it is also very small, and maintains high performance within the device.

For 3G we offer Armata (P/N SRFC011) for 3G and mobile devices. This is another tiny antenna, just 30.0 x 28.5mm. Operating at GSM850, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900 and WCDMA2100, it effectively covers all of the 3G bands around the world.

For the high speed 4G/LTE bands we have Mitis (P/N SRFL026) covering LTE700, GSM850, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900, WCDMA2100, LTE B7 (2500-2690MHz) and LTE B40 (2300-2400MHz). This antenna is ideal for smart meters, remote monitoring and smart grid solutions.

Our flexiiANT antenna range offers a choice of antenna shapes and sizes to give product designers more choice, because the performance of the antenna will depend on the size of the PCB. Each antenna has an I-PEX MHF connector and a 1.13mm RF cable in a choice of three lengths, for direct connection to the host PCB. They can be folded and fitted inside the case of a small device where space is tight. They can be popped into a design, in the desired position, and a peel-back self-adhesive backing fixes them in place. They are very useful for retro-fitting to earlier designs.

Antenova’s antennas have been created so that a designer can integrate them with the other circuits in a design in a convenient way. Rather than designing a product to fit around the antenna, Antenova’s engineering team have created them for plug and play simplicity.

Antenova is a leading developer and supplier of high performing integrated antennas and RF solutions for wireless communication, consumer electronic and wireless M2M devices, with a range of antennas and RF modules for GSM, CDMA, 3G, 4G, LTE, GPS, GNSS, WiFi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, LoRa, Sigfox, Weightless-P and ISM.

We provide full design advice and technical support, including custom antenna design, engineering, integration and test services to ensure the best possible antenna performance.

The Inca (SRFI028), Bentoni (P/N SRFG017),  Armata (P/N SRFC011) and Mitis (P/N SRFL026) antennas are all supplied in packs of 100 for convenience and quick delivery. Samples of these antennas are available now from www.antenova-m2m.com and from Antenova’s distributors worldwide.
