Following a huge number of entries and hours of deliberating by the judges, we are proud to reveal the shortlist for the 2016 Love Energy Savings Awards. Businesses and institutions of every shape, size and sector from up and down the country have entered this year’s awards, shouting about their efforts to improve energy efficiency however they can.

We’ve seen some truly amazing nominations this year. From recycling rainwater and installing solar panels, to improving CSR policies company-wide and even creating biogas from waste, the steps that have been taken are impressive. You can read more about the efforts of each nominee in more detail on our blog.

As difficult as it was, the Awards panel at business energy comparison specialists Love Energy Savings have narrowed down the list to a shortlist of four in each category.

The winners of the Love Energy Savings Awards 2016 are due to be announced on the 14th September.

Phil Foster, Managing Director of Love Energy Savings, commented on the selection of the finalists:

“We established the Love Energy Savings Awards to celebrate businesses’ efforts towards becoming more energy efficient, and we’re proud to see them grow even more in their second year. Narrowing down all the entries to 16 finalists was difficult, but we’re confident with the nominees we have selected.

“We hope that the Awards will not only give these businesses the recognition they deserve, but also inspire others to make changes within their own organisation. Everyone has a part to play, and hopefully if we all work together we can reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and secure a better future.”
