ecoConnect CIC, the UK’s green industry business network, has put out a nationwide call for the best of British innovation to present at a new showcase.
Cleantech Innovate, recently launched by ecoConnect, in partnership with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, is seeking out Britain’s best green innovations and technologies.
Forty all-British, growth oriented companies, handpicked from a highly competitive field and representing the next generation green industry pioneering, will be invited to present live at what is expected to be the largest showcase of its kind. Applications are now being accepted at http://cleantechinnovate.com.
The deadline for applications is Midnight, 30th November. Any UK registered company, whether established leader or new start-up, is invited to apply. Entries are welcomed from any British organisation that has pursued or developed a specific technology, process or other intellectual property that has or will have a positive, low carbon impact on the environment.
The 40 chosen innovators will have the opportunity to present short, five minute ‘demos’ to a paying audience. Delegates attending will include leading UK and international finance executives and VCs, corporate decision makers, press, industry analysts and deal makers from major law firms and accountancies.

However, the majority of cutting edge innovations struggle to get seen, accepted and commercialised. Cleantech Innovate aims to change this by showcasing more cutting edge technologies sooner and getting them out into the marketplace faster. We expect a wide variety of innovators and think we’ll uncover some real game changers. The innovations selected will be seen by potential investors, proof of concept partners and connect to new routes to market and business support, plus get a video of their performance.”
