Through the Low Carbon Workspaces £1,000 Energy Cashback campaign, grants of £1,000 are available to 50 small and medium-sized businesses spending over £2,000 on energy saving initiatives in February and March 2019. It’s first-come first-served with an application deadline of March 31st.
The £1,000 grants can be claimed towards LED lighting, heating and cooling upgrades, insulation, double-glazing, energy efficient computer servers and printers and other projects that will result in a quantifiable carbon saving.
Low Carbon Workspaces Programme Manager Rowan Wallis, said: “We are delighted to open the Low Carbon Workspaces programme to SMEs with smaller energy efficiency projects, so they too can benefit from implementing energy, cost and carbon saving initiatives”.
Rowan added: “Applications are coming in already, so I’d encourage interested businesses to get in touch with us asap.”

Low Carbon Workspaces is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to accelerate the uptake of energy efficient technology by small and medium sized businesses, to help them reduce running costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
