New from Ariston is the R290 solution, the Nuos Plus S2 Wi-Fi. The R290 heat pump water heater, an upgrade of the company’s existing Nuos Plus WiFi, offers greater efficiency, easier installation and a wider range of features to make it suitable for domestic and light commercial use.
The highly efficient R290 refrigerant means the Nuos Plus S2 Wi-Fi offers an ultra-low GWP of 3, with an A+ energy rating and a COP of up to 3.51, for an energy saving 80% greater than traditional electric water heaters. For customers that have solar panels, the unit provides seamless photovoltaic integration for maximised efficiency, as well as full system integration with other Ariston devices. With a streamlined design, the Nuos S2 is ideal for new buildings and renovations, without the need for major structural modifications, thanks to the versatile outlet ducting.
Designed specifically for professionals, the Nuos Plus S2 Wi-Fi’s compact design makes it easy to install in a number of spaces, including low ceiling installations. Once sited, the unit is easy to set up and maintain with full Ariston Net smart connectivity, offering customisable comfort options for the end user, remote monitoring and optional voice control.
The Nuos Plus S2 Wi-Fi is ultra silent for minimum noise disruption, operating at a noise level of 48 dBA, with the optional ‘Night’ function providing further acoustic comfort. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to use and provides homeowners full control to adjust temperatures, schedule operation, and track energy consumption in real time. Complementing this, the unit’s adaptive operating modes, including Green, Green+, Boost and I-Memory dynamically respond to household demand. By prioritising maximum efficiency during low-use periods and rapid performance when hot water availability is critical, the system ensures both sustainability and uncompromised comfort.
