At the start of COP28, Sophie Gilmore, Managing Director at HybridTec, said:
“Our world leaders need to increase their commitments to growing the green energy industry in order to support both local and national net zero targets, but also international greenhouse gas reduction targets. Discussions at COP28 need to mark a pivotal change in how we tackle climate change, agreeing to a strategy that helps us realise a more sustainable, cleaner future. The time to make changes is now, anticipating the possible risks posed by climate change and implementing required policy changes, starting with upskilling future generations in green skills such as the installation of air source pumps, EV charge points and combi fault finding.”
