Cornish energy efficiency and renewable energy company, Enact Energy, has been recognised for the work it is doing in Cornwall and the South West after being shortlisted for an award at the South West Green Energy Awards.

The company, which is headquartered in Tolvaddon, has been shortlisted in the ‘Installer or Supplier of the Year’ category of the Awards, sponsored by YouGen.

Over the past year, Enact’s has managed the installation of more than 14,500 energy saving measures nationwide saving over 200,000 tonnes of CO2.

In addition, Enact, which was named as one of 22 Green Deal Pioneer companies by DECC, has recently implemented bespoke software enabling its in-house call centre advisors to measure approximate energy use and establish the best solution to satisfy customer needs over the phone.

Speaking on behalf of Enact Energy, marketing manager, Judith Ball said, “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this category which is a reflection of the energy saving goals we have achieved over the past year resulting in high levels of CO2 savings and great customer satisfaction.”

Enact will find out if they have won their category at this years South West Green Energy Awards Ceremony in November, held at the Assembly Rooms in Bath where the South West renewable energy industry will celebrate their successes.
