Humax EV Charging is launching Humax MX PRO 22kW EV charger, a commercial charging solution created specifically for fleets, depots, workplace environments, commercial buildings and apartments.

Built to simplify both initial deployment and future expansion, the Humax MX PRO combines intelligent charging technology with an installation architecture designed to grow alongside an organisation’s EV requirements.

The charger will be launched during Fleet & Mobility Live (NEC Birmingham, 6 – 7 October 2026, stand H3).

A key benefit of the Humax MX PRO is making large-scale charger deployment easier. Sites can be pre-wired using the MX PRO backplate and protective dummy cover (MX Ready), allowing electrical preparation to be completed before each charger is required.

As fleet demand grows, additional Humax MX PRO units can be fitted to the prepared backplates without needing further wiring work. Daisy-chain connectivity reduces cabling requirements, while dynamic load balancing intelligently distributes available power across multiple chargers.

Matthew McMullan, director, Automotive and Energy at Humax EV Charging, said: “Fleet electrification is not simply about installing more charge points. Operators require infrastructure that is straightforward to deploy today but does not restrict what they can do tomorrow. The Humax MX PRO has been designed to address the challenge of future-proofing installations and minimising infrastructure disruption.

“Furthermore, the Humax MX PRO brings a range of fleet-focused technologies into a single platform. One of the most important aspects is our agnostic approach to CPMS. We are already integrated with Monta, Fuuse and Ta, and are open to integrating with other CPMS providers.”

The Humax MX PRO features AutoCharge, enabling charging to begin automatically when a recognised vehicle is connected, while Plug & Charge with ISO 15118-2 provides secure vehicle identification without requiring an app or RFID card. A MID-certified meter ensures accurate billing and cost recovery, while the integrated 4.3” LCD display provides clear charging information and a digital QR code.

It includes a built-in 4G eSIM, allowing network providers to be changed without replacing physical SIM cards across individual chargers. The platform supports OCPP 1.6J and is upgradeable to OCPP 2.0.1, enabling integration across leading charge point management platforms. Its split-data architecture keeps Humax diagnostics and maintenance connected even when operators choose their preferred third-party CPMS.

The Humax MX PRO delivers up to 22kW three-phase charging and supports single- and three-phase installations. Connectivity includes 4G LTE with built-in eSIM, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Zigbee, alongside built-in PLC & V2G readiness. The charger is rated IP54 and IK10, incorporates a range of electrical protections and is available for wall or optional pole mounting.
