FLIR has announced that it will be showcasing its new Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) technology at this year’s Energy Solutions show, taking place at London Olympia on 10th-11th October.

MSX takes the detail from the visual image captured by the FLIR camera to enhance the thermal image. It’s a form of superfusion that brings significant benefit to the user. The resultant, much crisper image allows details to be seen that brings any energy loss problem into sharp focus.

This is one of the new features introduced by the FLIR T640bx, the company’s latest addition to the top end of its range. Other features include user selectable and continuous autofocus, and matching field of view for ease of reporting. This model also allows users to add unlimited sketch annotations to the image via the camera’s touch screen.

Visitors can view the FLIR product range, including the FLIR T640bx on stand F42.
