Shentongroup has expanded its powertherm range of combined heat & power (CHP) systems, meaning the range is now available in over 60 sizes ranging from 7kW to 2MW, in five package styles and with several different fuel types including natural gas, LPG and biogas.

The package design can encompass all the CHP components within an acoustic enclosure, thereby providing low noise output in plant room environments.

Powertherm can also be enabled to provide standby power, thus eliminating the possibility of brownouts or blackouts. The system’s synchronising controllers also enable powertherm to run in sync with a standby generator or the normal mains supply.

Powertherm’s waste heat recovery provides heating for hot water, space heating or air conditioning. This reduces overall energy consumption and enables commercial and industrial customers to offset gas and electricity consumption. Also, the system’s low exhaust emissions ensure that powertherm can provide compliance with various regulations, including a zero NOx product for BREEAM applications.

The powertherm series is available with a maintenance package that includes shentongroup’s internet-based remote monitoring system. Customers can also benefit from Infinium24, a guaranteed fixed cost maintenance plan that ensures all components are fully maintained.

Infinium 24 allows a true ‘whole of life cost’ to be calculated accurately, allowing the return of investment to be accurately predicted. Calculating the true cost of the entire product life from the very beginning also enables energy cost savings to be guaranteed.
