Located at the very heart of the UK, at the premier National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, The ACR Show is the ONLY national exhibition for the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, heating and heat pump sectors. With the popularity of the show increasing, many exciting exhibitors are joining us in 2016.
Under the spotlight today is: Scandia Refrigeration, a company that prides itself on being seen as the most competitive cold room wholesaler and manufacturer in the UK market, whilst still delivering fantastic quality. Scandia began trading using polystyrene and timber cold room panels made in its first small warehouse, from there the company has developed and expanded.
Late 2013 saw a very successful working relationship begin with industry giant, Arneg; it was granted the sole UK importation rights of the Arneg cold rooms. This has broadened the ranges and increased the market share – the company can now offer more affordable, convenient options using the modular cold rooms that it markets and sells at the most competitive price in the industry.
As part of the agreement with Arneg, Scandia now imports the Portuguese industrial panels arriving in 40ft containers weekly. This has radicalised the company’s production methods and has sliced the time it takes to manufacture one of these cold rooms in half , increasing the number of cold rooms it can build in a day.
Why are you supporting The ACR Show?
Alex Mockford said: “We last exhibited at the RAC 2009 Show with only an averagely/small sized stand. By taking the biggest stand at next year’s ACR show we aim to show just how much we’ve grown and just how much we’re setting out to dominate the market”.
What can we expect from you at the show?
“Visitors can expect to see all things refrigeration. The stand will have areas perfect for the ‘freezer geezers’ interested in having an interactive experience, as well as catering for the visitors who don’t feel the need to talk but could take a business card, USB or brochure away with them.
“The stand will have products ranging from door furniture, refrigeration equipment, refrigerated display, modular cold rooms, refrigerated trailers, and of course a cold room”.
