With 2012’s most anticipated and fastest growing energy event kicking off tomorrow, Energy Management takes a bite sized look at some of the key exhibitors, what they will be showcasing and where to find them.

 

 


Cylon Active Energy – (J45): Cloud-based, real time energy management services that allows the company to monitor, analyse and optimise the energy consumption of a customer’s buildings, regardless of geographical location, and is an energy monitoring and management tool that is well suited for multi-site and multi building organisations.

Energy Alert – (A54): The latest version of the company’s ALERT gas and power risk management application. This will include benchmarking of recent wholesale energy purchases that large energy consumers have made against the traded market at that time, to see whether they have been capturing the best prices or not.

Wind Direct – (D36): Free site assessments during the event, providing an opportunity for delegates, especially major energy users to find out instantly if they have a site which may be suitable for on-site generation from wind.

Atlas Copco Compressors – (G26): The latest energy efficient air compressors and blowers, plus the company’s recently launched GA30-90 kW oil injected screw compressor range and expanded ZS+ blower range. It will also be highlighting the performance and energy savings available when using fully integrated VSD technology.

Datamere Solutions – (C10): The company’s new GMS V4 gas management system which will be released in 2013, plus details about Genus (the new joint Gas and Electricity system) which will be released in 2014.

Mattei Compressors – (F01): Advice and guidance on energy saving compressor technologies, plus the company’s range of energy efficient industrial air compressors, including Maxima single stage compressor and the Optima variable speed compressor range. There will also be demonstrations on how the efficiency of compressed air systems can be improved.

Siemens – (F10): Demonstrations of the company’s high density metering solution which integrates all the metering output from a site in a single tool, by accepting existing smart metering data in the same portal. It displays the results on a minute by minute basis – unlike traditional metering, which only displays the results the following day.

npower – (E80): The latest energy management advice and guidance on energy procurement as well as the latest innovations designed to help businesses unlock potential savings by taking control of their energy. npower’s presence at this year’s event will take on a completely new form with the creation of the npower Energy Village, providing delegates with a one-stop-shop for the latest practical business energy advice.

Mitsubishi Electric – (G28): A showcase of the company’s Total Energy Management Solutions. Via Mitsubishi’s drive OEC energy saving technology, energy metering and its MX4 energy management solution, customers can measure, monitor, analyse and make decisions that will improve energy control strategies, identify and eliminate energy waste and reduce energy cost.

Fulcrum – (F40): The company’s Multi-Utility connections service alongside a new free gas pipework Inspection and Maintenance ‘MOT’ check and a new ‘Making Switching Easier’ initiative for heavy fuel users who want to enjoy the financial savings associated with a switch to gas. There will also be video content, interactive information tablets and product and case study information.

Haven Power – (C32): The company’s new SME products which are being launched in response to the unpredictable increases in third party charges earlier this year. Detailed information on Haven’s I&C offering can also be discussed on-stand. Plus Haven’s interactive model which demonstrates the field-to-furnace supply of biomass for large scale power generation.

Trend Controls – (H08): A portfolio of energy saving solutions including the latest in touchscreen displays that use schematics to show real time information about temperature, humidity and setpoints from a BEMS. Plus, Trend’s Natural Ventilation solution comprising intelligent window controls that can be fully integrated within a BEMS, alongside IQeco, the company’s latest range of air conditioning terminal unit controllers.
